Marlys and Corey

Marlys & Co. have been family friends for a long time. Marlys is the type of person that would do anything for you and she also would do anything for any animal. Maryls used to cut my mom, my sister, and my hair for many years and every time we'd get our hair cut, we would be greeted by the latest addition to the animal family! There was a range of dogs, pigs, cats, birds, etc...I'm probably missing some! Marlys is such a loving person...to her children, to her animals, to her great new husband, Corey! It was great to see her so happy on her wedding day! To many years of happiness and love, Marlys and Corey! Cheers!

shoes, shoes, shoes...

So I wouldn't really consider myself a shoe kinda girl. I'm pretty content to wear my earth shoes every day and admit that walking in heels for me is a bit like trying to write with my left hand. Perhaps my inability to wear heels prompts my feet photo fetish. After picking out some of my favorites from Erin and Charlie's, I realized that I had approximately 89 feet/funky shoe photos! Aye aye aye... Props to Erin and Charlie's wedding guests for their fantastic shoe attire!

Erin & Charlie

Intelligent, talented, beautiful, kind, organized (I'll touch on this more later!), genuine. All words I would have used to describe Erin in high school, which is where I first met her (in band!). I would use these same words to describe her now but I need to add one more, in love! Erin and Charlie's wedding was a testament of their love for each other, their families, their friends, their God. It was a beautiful day filled with beautiful things! One of those beautiful things (from a photographer's perspective) was how incredibly organized it was! Erin had a spreadsheet scheduled to the minute! This was especially fantastic during formal photos! There were about 549 copies of the master spreadsheet which had the list of photos along with the corresponding numbers. Then Laura, personal attendant extraordinaire, kept track of what photo was currently being taken as well as what photo was "on deck" by displaying large number that corresponded to the appropriate photo. I think I need Erin to help me organize how to explain that system but really, it was incredible! Erin and Charlie, congratulations on your marriage! We were honored to be a part of it!

Erin and Charlie not only practiced their dip, but they practiced their first dance as well! It totally paid off...they looked like pros!

Justin and Lucy

Justin and Lucy's mom wanted a nice family photo but Justin was more interested in running/chasing/being chased/playing and I can't say as I blame him! It was a beautiful evening for playing! However, I think we got the nice family photo and the playing all taken care of!

Adeline

I'm back! Between traveling, shooting weddings, and technical computer difficulties, I have found myself VERY behind so I apologize for things taking longer than usual! Anyway, this is Adeline who I met up with last week. Adeline, her mom, and Stephanie (a long time friend of Adeline's mom) were up for a shoot downtown which I loved! The colors and textures of buildings and alleys are always complimentary for photos! Adeline impressed me not only with her cuteness but also with her ability to say "Emily/Emowee" which is a tough, three syllable word! Check out this cutie:
